Corporate Sponsorships
and Partnerships

Our corporate sponsorships and partnerships allow us to provide a variety of free research programs for our members and fund SEED projects. Moreover, these sponsorships directly support our mission in helping us diversify shark science and break down the financial barrier into this field.

If you company is interested in joining us as we pursue our mission, we encourage you to learn more about our corporate sponsorship program. Together we can make shark science a more diverse, accessible field.
CONTACT OUR TEAM
"It is an honor to partner with Minorities in Shark Science to help them advance their mission of bringing more women of color into a research discipline that is so important to our ocean biome. The more diversity brought into a field, the greater the potential for new discoveries and innovation....it is time to help remove the barriers of entry to the discipline of shark science and encourage new advancements in the field.” - Janet Vissering, senior vice president Production and Development, National Geographic Partners

About miss

MISS provides a community and funded opportunities for gender minorities of color who wish to enter the field of shark sciences. We aim to show that there are many gender minorities of color succeeding in and interested in this field.

We fundraise and apply for grants to create paid opportunities to attempt to knock down the financial barrier into shark sciences. We encourage other organizations in our field to do the same.
