We are pleased to offer several unique internship opportunities to MISS members through partnerships with other shark science organizations.
Bimini Biological Field Station Foundation
We are partnering with the Bimini Shark Lab in the Bahamas to provide two internship experiences for MISS members. There will be two options for this program, April 15th- June 20th, 2021 or October 15th- December 15th, 2021 and interns must be available for the entire period of time. This internship program will be offered at no cost to participants. Room, board, travel and associated fees will be covered. We are partnering with Oceans Research Institute in South Africa to provide internship experiences for MISS members. This is a one month internship program with spots available in May, August, October and November 2021. MISS will fund a limited amount of scholarships to cover the cost of the internship program, travel and associated fees.
